Welcome to projectnonu.org (the “Website”). The Website and the services offered through it (collectively, the “Services”) are provided by Live For Cause Foundation operating Project NONU ("we", "us", "our").

Important: Project NONU offers wellbeing education, workshops, and access to licensed/qualified mental‑health professionals. Our Services are not a substitute for emergency care. If you are in crisis or in danger, call local emergency services (India: 112) or reach out to a crisis helpline immediately.

If you browse, access, or use the Website/Services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Who we are

Fiscal host / payments: Certain payments (tickets, fees, or donations) may be collected and receipted by Live For Cause Foundation as fiscal host.

2. Scope of Services

We provide: (a) wellbeing content and self‑help resources; (b) workshops and events (online/offline); (c) a free mental‑health checkup/triage form; (d) facilitation of therapy/counselling sessions with independent professionals; and (e) community initiatives and donation options.

We may add, modify, or discontinue Services at any time with reasonable notice where feasible.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register for or purchase our Services. For individuals aged 13–17, a parent/guardian must provide consent in writing for participation in any session or event. Our Services are intended for residents of India unless expressly stated otherwise.

4. Accounts & Accurate Information

When you create an account, submit a form, or book a session/event, you agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information and to update it when it changes. You are responsible for safeguarding any login credentials and for all activity under your account.

5. Mental‑Health & Medical Disclaimers

Our educational content and workshops are for information and skill‑building and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Therapy/counselling sessions are provided by independent, qualified professionals (“Therapists”). Project NONU coordinates scheduling and payments but does not practice medicine or psychology and does not supervise clinical judgment.

We do not guarantee particular outcomes. Your progress depends on many personal factors.

Emergencies: The Services are not designed for crisis management. If you are at risk of harm to self or others, call 112 or visit the nearest emergency facility.

6. Booking, Rescheduling & Cancellations

Sessions (therapy/counselling):

• Scheduling: Confirmed only after payment (unless expressly waived). You will receive a confirmation by email/SMS/WhatsApp.
• Punctuality: Therapists will wait up to 15 minutes from the scheduled start. Late arrivals may shorten the session; no extra time is guaranteed.
• Rescheduling: You may reschedule once per session without charge if you request it ≥24 hours before the start time (subject to Therapist availability). Requests <24 hours may be treated as cancellations.
• Cancellations & No‑shows:
  • ≥24 hours before start: refund or credit, less any non‑recoverable charges (e.g., payment gateway fees), at our discretion.
  • <24 hours or no‑show: fee is non‑refundable. In exceptional situations (illness, emergency), we may offer a one‑time credit at our discretion.
• Therapist‑initiated changes: If a Therapist reschedules or cancels, we will offer an alternative slot or a refund of the session fee.

Workshops/Events:

• Tickets: Confirmed after payment. Seat transfers may be permitted once up to 48 hours before the event with written notice.
• Refunds: Unless required by law or stated on the event page, tickets are non‑refundable. If we postpone or cancel, you may choose a new date or request a refund of the base ticket price.
• Conduct: We may deny or remove access for disruptive or unsafe behaviour; no refund will be due in such cases.

7. Fees, Payments & Taxes

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise and are inclusive/exclusive of taxes as indicated at checkout.

Payments may be processed by us or our payment service providers. By paying, you authorize us and our processors to charge your selected payment method.

Donations: Donations are generally non‑refundable. Receipts and tax benefits (e.g., 80G) are provided only if applicable and subject to governing law and our registration status at the time of donation.

You are responsible for bank charges, currency conversion costs, and any applicable taxes.

8. Therapist Relationship & Safety

Therapists are independent professionals responsible for their own licenses/qualifications and for maintaining confidentiality in line with professional standards. We may perform reasonable vetting but do not guarantee credentials beyond what is disclosed.

If you experience any professional misconduct or safety concern, report it immediately to pr@liveforcause.org. We reserve the right to suspend or remove a Therapist from our network pending review.

9. Community Guidelines

We aim to maintain a respectful, inclusive environment. By using our Services, you agree not to: harass or abuse others; share hateful, discriminatory, or explicit content; impersonate others; or interfere with the normal operation of the Services. Violations may result in suspension or termination without refund.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website—including text, graphics, logos, videos, and tools—is owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable IP laws. You may view and download limited materials for personal, non‑commercial use only. Any reproduction, distribution, modification, or public display requires our prior written consent.

User Content: If you submit content (e.g., feedback, testimonials), you grant us a worldwide, royalty‑free, non‑exclusive license to use, reproduce, and display such content in connection with the Services, subject to our Privacy Policy. You remain responsible for your submissions and warrant you hold necessary rights.

Recordings & Media at Events: We may photograph or record events for documentation and educational/marketing purposes. We will respect explicit opt‑out requests where feasible; some venues may be covered by general filming notices.

11. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Activities

You agree not to: (a) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or related systems; (b) upload malware; (c) copy, scrape, or harvest data except as permitted; (d) use the Services to provide competing products; or (e) bypass security features. We may monitor for abuse and take appropriate action.

12. Third‑Party Services & Links

The Website may link to third‑party sites (e.g., payment gateways, ticketing platforms like BookMyShow/District, messaging, or video platforms). We do not control and are not responsible for third‑party content, terms, or privacy practices. Your use of third‑party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information. Please review it carefully. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy will govern with respect to personal data.

14. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error‑free.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we (including our trustees, officers, employees, volunteers, partners, or agents) be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claims relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific Service giving rise to the claim in the three (3) months preceding the event.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third‑party rights.

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Subject to any mandatory arbitration laws that may apply, the courts at Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services.

18. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Website and/or email/WhatsApp where feasible. Changes are effective when posted unless a later date is specified. Your continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
